I purchased my first miniature pony mare "Beltona Madonna" (Palomino turned Grey)from Yvonne at Beltona Stud in Maccelsfield in 2001. It wasn't long before the bug got me and I had to go back and get another one "Carousel Paris" (Black Grulla). Both mares were in foal and Carousel had a Colt at foot "William" who is a pet residing in Wesburn.
Our first born was out of Madonna and I named him Dermie and we still own him. He was gelded at 18 months and has has some success at a few Ag Shows as a youngster.
Our second born out of Carousel was another Colt "Winston" he was sold at 4 years as a Stallion Buckskin to a lady in Don Valley.
Back to Beltona Stud for another service for Madonna, we sent her to Beltona Bo Jangles and we had a lovely little Chestnut pinto Colt "Aragon". He was sold last year as a 3 year old and now lives with Carol in Tolmie near Mansfield. Lovely place for a Stallion to go, he is happy with six mares to serve and loves being free.
Then finally a filly "Jezzabelle" Grey Dun who was prepared for last season's shows but with EI we did not get to go out as a 2 year old. She has also had a couple of ribbons as a foal/ filly.
Then came "Cheeky" and of course last season "Ricci" and "Bailey".
